Company to showcase its Continuous Data Protection products at the conference.
R1Soft, a developer of Continuous Data Protection products for Linux and Windows, today announced that it will showcase its innovative data protection solution at HostingCon 2008, a conference and exhibition for the Web hosting industry, to be held July 28-30 in Chicago, Il.
Attended by thousands of hosted services professionals from more than 30 countries, the company claims that HostingCon provides it with an opportunity to connect with its user community and discuss the latest in data protection technology. The company says that it will exhibit at booth #425 in the exhibit hall and it claims that its booth will provide live demonstrations of its software.
It explains that its Continuous Data Protection solution provides round-the-clock backup of data, with intervals between restore points as short as five minutes. Through the technology, server administrators can virtually eliminate the threat of data loss in the event of a disaster. Continuous Data Protection is designed to integrate with all major hosting control panels, including cPanel, Plesk, Ensim, DirectAdmin, and H-Sphere, adds the company.
"HostingCon is a great opportunity each year to reach out to decision makers and leaders in the hosted services community. With such a diverse assortment of attendees, HostingCon allows our team to interact and learn about the needs of hosting providers, large and small," said David Wartell, Vice President, R1Soft division, BBS Technologies, Inc. "Our software has made major leaps forward, both for Windows and Linux servers, and we will be using HostingCon as a chance to highlight many of these improvements. The importance of robust data protection has never been greater and our software offers the only next-generation solution."
